Armidale trip

Went to Armidale last weekend, had a really relaxing time with Lee, David, Angus, Rohan, Callan and Sophia.  The kids all had a ball and we had such a good time catching up.  Went for a bushwalk to Dangars Falls.  Angus has a great memory.  Sophia is a cute girl who is loved heaps by her big brothers.

Thomas train for Liams birthday

Liam and Aiden are riding the trains at Lithgow for Liam’s first birthday on the 18th April.

Sammy is crawling

Yesterday Sammy started to crawl instead of sliding forward, he now has all 4 limbs moving.  He is continuing with bottle feeding and refusing the breast apart from dream feeds.  Teething and formula is really making a mess of his nappies.  Aiden is making up heaps of scenarios of which Sam and myself play a role, changing characters quickly throughout the day. 

Cabbage moth

am getting some general attck by cabbage moths, will sprinkle derris dust tomorrow

Movie night

Ha a great time out last might for Annette’s birthday, watched a couple of movies, had some wine, had some noodles, very pleasant stimulating conversation.  Stayed out till after midnight, a big one.

Feeder issues

Sammy decided yesterday he would no longer feed on the left side, and today decided he would no longer breast feed at all. Am expressing and feeding him 4-5 times a day through bottle which he loves.  Will ring ABA tomorrow and take it from there.

Sammy is on all fours, rocking and going backwards with the occasional forward moves.  Ergo baby sling arrived today, learning how to use it, Sammy and Aiden both had a go in it in the back carrying position.  They both had a great time in it.  Quite comfy to carry both around.

Farm work

Been down visiting Vik’s parents place marking lambs.

Jase helped out Colin & Lynne and they marked 160 odd before lunch.

Some tails are a little long as Jase had trouble getting the right length.

Boys only

Jase spent most of the day looking after both boys by himself.

Sam has been getting up on all fours and rocking, won’t be long before he starts crawling. He had a good tea, ate capsicum, avocado, broccoli and lentils.

Had fun making a wooden hobby horse and running around the yard with the soccer ball.

Vicki made  lunch for the ABA training day and had lunch with them.

Spraying

Sprayed trees for scale with white oil.

Procrastinating about sorting through photos for putting into albums.  Took Aiden for a bike ride down the street with Cracker.  Cracker really enjoyed his walk up and down the street, he was in a playful mood.  Went to playgroup today at Wendy and Laura’s house.  All the kids enjoyed their time playing inside and out.  Had a great day.
